I got hit with a 2.4x surge pricing this saturday at 1:00 AM... like that’s the only time that people around me use Uber so when is it not surge pricing

I prefer it since taxi drivers in my city are assholes. Uber drivers have consistently been better, and at half the cost of the taxi.
